I have heard this way too many times... If someone says they want to commit suicide then they really won't... NOT TRUE!

• Talking about suicide, not living, wishing they were dead, stopped existing.. .you get the point... any indication of suicidal thoughts is something to consider important.

• Sleep, eat and hygiene issues

• Isolating

• Significant behavioral and/or mood changes

• Stops caring and/or enjoying what they used to

• Making preparations for death: a will, giving away possessions, writing goodbye letters, etc

• Risky activities and behaviors such as drug use and gambling
